Concerning frailty the following topics will be addressed: biology of frailty and aging, physical frailty and age-related body composition modification, cognitive frailty, frailty in clinical practice and public health, clinical trials and therapeutics.

In the field of sarcopenia the conference will focus on: animal models, biology, preclinical trials functional assessment, biomarkers and imaging, new drug developments, physical exercise, nutrition intervention and epidemiology.
